Lifetime Enclosures is committed to making our website accessible to everyone by following internationally recognized standards and U.S. regulations, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We design to WCAG 2.1 Level AA today and are preparing for WCAG 3.0 as it matures. Our site also aligns with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act to ensure comparable access across federal digital content. We conduct regular automated and manual audits—leveraging tools like axe-core and the A11Y Project checklist—and welcome your feedback to continuously improve.

  • Section 508 Compliance: We adhere to the Revised Section 508 Standards for federal digital content, providing equivalent access for all users.
  • ADA Title III: As a public accommodation, we follow ADA guidance on nondiscrimination and effective communication for people with disabilities.

  • Image Alt Text: Every meaningful image carries descriptive alt text; decorative images use alt="".
  • Color Contrast: Text and UI elements meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio (3:1 for large text).
  • Captions & Transcripts: Multimedia content includes captions and transcripts to assist users with hearing impairments.
  • Overlay Widget: We use the UserWay accessibility widget (userway.org) as an overlay to enhance site accessibility.
